Yeah Jeannie-so glad you're back. And whoever fixed my typo-I am eternally grateful.
Lunch was leftover roast chicken (no skin) and a little cottage cheese.
Dinner-pizza.
I did Lacey, hope you don't mind. I am looking forward to starting tomorrow's thread. Been too long. Please though, if I'm ever running late, everyone feel free to have the honors, you all have been great! Oops, almost forgot...
oatmeal with sliced banana
water with lemons
supplements
vanilla/plain yogurt with flaxseed, Acaiberry, and Grapenuts
We have been having Jeannie withdrawal. Tell us all about it. When we first moved to Union County (which is to Charlotte just about equal to Johnston County's distance to Raleigh) I was told by a bowling pal that her cousin had waited 6 weeks to get a telephone installed in this area. I think it took a day or two which was good because Mr. VA has always called into work from home. That was 33 years ago. We were lucky that our builder had everything just about ready to go when we got here. I have been wondering how it is going for you. Are the children in school?
Lunch was scrambled eggs, mostly whites and turkey mini sausage
2 slices whitewheat with apple butter and coffee and milk
Just had ice cream, cherry vanilla of course.
Jeannie, how are you adjusting to the slower pace of life? Are you working yet?

Hi NCN! No, not working yet. I had to get fingerprinted today and have a few more things to do to be able to practice in NC. The kids started school yesterday and were fortunate enough to have 2 children right next door to us the same age. They actually moved here from up North last month. Its so beautiful down here. We all love it so far. Yes, some things are slower but I think we're adjusting. It makes a difference to have cable and internet. We won't have phone service until next week though. The schools are very good also. I'm just missing familiarity a bit but I'm sure it will get better. NCN, how did you do with the storm last friday?
We were fine. You are talking about Hanna, right? Fay was the bad one for us. You got more of Hanna than we did. I was wondering about you. I called my son's family. He later e-mailed me that if he didn't have media, he would have just thought he was getting a lot of rain. When you were having it bad, it had already left here. We were just on the edge of Hanna, but Fay dumped on us. Next county over (Cabarrus near the Lowe's Motor Speedway) got 14 inches and had major flooding with Fay.
