Izzy, you have to be kidding about leaving part of the ice cream in the fridge. I felt I was having a successful day today after range of motion class, when I went to the grocery store and did not buy any ice cream. When I get cherry vanilla, I feel like I have to try to eat the whole thing. It does put on the pounds too.
Lunch was 5 slices ham and a tossed salad and an apple
Dinner was mesquite chicken and slaw
Went off just a little this afternoon when I had some munchies, but I am doing better than usual. It is a process and I am determined to win.

Mr. VA wants to know if anybody else is having trouble with gas lines in their area. We filled up both cars when we came home from Raleigh the other day and still have gas from that, but the poor people around here were lined up at several gas stations today when I came back from Monroe.

Izzy, I try to do it the same way you treat yourself to ice cream.
I always have a large box of chocolate and vanilla ice cream in the freezer and take 2-3 spoons in a bowl. But consuming smaller amounts of ice cream always makes me add whipped cream and chocolate syrup and have those tiny waffles along with it...... Now that got me drooling. I probably will have ice cream tonight lol

I only had some rice and veggies and chicken breast slices Chinese style and a piece of chocolate afterwards for dinner.

Diana and Izzy, that is great you can do it that way. Thats a healthy way of eating. Unfortunately for me once I get started its hard for me to stop and I end up overdoing it.
