Saturday's "slow moving" food journal
Good morning! Looking forward to a partly sunny day today in the high 70's. Actually may hit the 80's by Tuesday. Hubby just got back from NJ on Thursday night and said he needed a jacket already with the weather change. So what is on your schedule for today? Coffee with sugar in the raw and soymilk... ...have a great Saturday everyone! Jeannie

off on Sundays...
Just to let everyone know I've decided not to start my food journal threads on Sundays, starting tomorrow. Its usually very slow here anyway. If anyone is on, feel free to go ahead and start things up but I'm going to have that day off from here on. I may drop in though but may not. Thanks everyone. Jeannie

Good morning, Jeannie. Never on Sunday, it is just too busy.
We should be going to the zoo more often now. We bought a year round ticket and we can take our grandchildren for free anytime we go. I love that place. It is really a good place to hike on a clear trail. After we had walked all afternoon and decided not to pay for the tram, we learned that the tram was free! We used to go on Sunday afternoon and cover the zoo in about 2 hours. Now they suggest giving from 4-6 hours to see everything. I think it would take 2 days for us.
Coffee and milk
banana
2 eggo waffles
It is killing me, but I am being good today.
Good luck on the house, Lacey.

Izzy, that little baby is not so little anymore. She and her older sister are such sweet little things. The zoo is half way between us. I hope we can maybe meet there and let the little ones enjoy the animals. The two year old is an animal lover. The little one loves the two year old. I can take them for a few hours at a time. Never a dull moment. With this ticket, we also get a discount with anyone else that goes with us and we can update to let another person be on our card. All this was less than $50 with our senior citizen discount. The discount almost paid for the lunch we had at the Roadhouse in Asheboro. We got two baby flounder plates for $4.99 each and I could not eat everything on the plate. We will be going back to that place.
Lunch was a church barbecue plate--barbecued pork, slaw, 2 slices bread. I did not eat the potato chips and cake. It was really good barbecue. I left the sauce off too. I like dry barbecue.
