Tuesday "warm welcome for new friends" food journal
Good morning to all of you. Or is it already lunch time?
Work day is nearly finished and I'm looking forward to a nice and sunny afternoon with DS. Will take him for a walk and maybe feed the ducks at the pond of our little town today.
The great smell of the bakery made me go in there today. It's very near to the day nursery and I'm so good lately and don't go in there at all but today I couldn't resist and bought a raisin bun with lots of sugar icing. It was so delicious I had to eat half of it right in the car on my way to work but had to stop or I would have had a sugar overdose
Lunch was one and a half crèpes stuffed with ground meat from yesterday's dinner with some sauce Hollandaise and steamed cabbage turnip.
1 vanilla yogurt
Will definitely eat the rest of the raisin bun right now.
Okay, I hope that all of our new friends will stop by today to say hello.
Welcome again!

Tuesday "try it you'll like it" food journal
Good morning! A beautiful mostly sunny day in the mid 70's today in NC. Perfect for my in-laws that got here last night for a few days to visit. My kids are thrilled since they haven't seen their Nana and Pop since we left NJ back in August. So whats on your schedule for today? A Billy Blanks Taebo work-out for me this morning. Coffee with sugar in the raw and soymilk... ...have a fabulous Tuesday everyone! Jeannie

Good morning... once again was a late start for me... so I go stuck with throwing Pop Tarts into my lunch box once again.
Today for lunch, I'm having jumbalaya I made over the weekend. I splurged and put some smoked sausage in it as well... but if I just stick to smaller portions, I should be okay!
Last night was my son's first orchestra concert in Varsity Orchestra. I'm telling you... want to talk about a guy with mixed emotions, I was happy for him that he made varsity, but I'm also sad because this is his last year of high school. Why the heck do they have to grow up so darn fast?!?!
Have a great day, all!

Good morning friends.....I found the Tuesday thread... Someone has to start a new thread each day? Who is doing that? Thank You.
Yesterday was a good start and I had that motivational sense that I could already feel a difference in one day....LOL......at least I felt less bloated and stuffed.....I like the energy and optimism that comes with starting something that is good for me...also we got word yesterday that my Dear Partner's father is in the hospital with a variety of problems....(he is 83 and has several serious chronic conditions) They live in Japan.....so the distance makes it hard....also worrying about my MIL....who is home alone and a bit overwhelmed and worried.
I want to do some preventative health care for myself by getting my weight down and my diet more healthy. I am no spring chicken and dont want to jeopardize my wonderful life. So I will stick to it.
I had a serving of hot wheatena cereal to finish my breakfast....... Something warm in the tummy feels good on the cold mornings that we are having.
So far this morning 1/2 of a small grapefruit and lots of green tea. I know I will need something more than that but will wait a bit.

Thank you for sharing with us elston and again, very happy you are here. I usually start things up here but sometimes others will begin if I don't make it here early enough. I try and get things going by 8:00 a.m. at the latest. If I'm not going to make it on a certain day, I try and let everyone know.

Elston sounds like your first day of the rest of your life was successful!!! Personally I haven't felt healthier in a very long time and it's a good feeling.
For sweet cravings I always have a bowl of fruit in fridge and it's a mix of strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, peaches spinkled with a little sugar, black pepper and balsamic vinegar. A little on a thin slice of angel food cake is great.
Just one day at a time.

Good morning new and old friends.
Diana, we have a lot in common. I would have told almost anyone that I do not do sweets, but just got finished eating 2 mini almond joys. I bought them when the company was here over the weekend. Nothing worse than to be at someone's home and starving because it is too soon for dinner. So I stock the candy dish.
Regular breakfast: Coffee and milk 1%
banana
2 strawberry eggo waffles
I will be shopping for a decorative file cabinet to go in the corner of my livingroom just to the left of the fireplace. There is nowhere else to put one and I don't want an ugly one there. I may be looking for that for a while. That's O. K. The doctor said I should shop more. LOL
Rath, just wait until it is the grandchildren that are growing up too fast. And don't they look so good at that age. My granddaughter has reddish blonde hair and sapphire blue eyes and that really fair skin with a few freckles. I call that knockout!
Now, new posters, it is time to go on over to Today's Question. Lacey has probably already been there. Time for some more fun. See you tomorrow, probably. Mr. VA gets the computer room for his at home job at noon.
