Good morning! Well, the colds seem to be settling into our household lately. My daughter seemed to have started it all and now she is getting something again. Rough night last night with wheezing and coughing. For whatever reason, I'm the only one remaining without the bug but now that I've said it probably jinxed myself...... So whats on your schedule for today? Coffee with sugar in the raw and soymilk......happy Wednesday everyone!

Good morning ladies and gentlemen when they check in.

coffee and milk
banana
2 eggo waffles
another coffee and milk

I am going to a Healthy New You luncheon and nutrition lecture about holiday food preparation and not blowing your diet during the holidays. We have a lot of fun at these. I will try to be good.

I am taking my famous cole slaw. I took ham last month and brought it back home. I hope they eat my slaw. Two of the ladies said they were bringing pinto beans and corn bread, so everybody will probably eat that instead of anything else.

Ladies when it comes to Southern food, Pinto Beans and Corn Bread is just about as Southern as it gets. I love them! Maybe I will take a big onion too. They all go together and are so healthy.

Jeannie, hopefully you won't get the bug too. Since I'm not resting properly my bug won't go away this time. I hope the weekend does its best and I can relax a bit and try to sleep the coughing off. Yesterday evening my right ear hurt and I had to take some medicine to be able to sleep at all. It's really strange that over the day I'm feeling pretty good and in the evening it gets worse again...

NCN, that luncheon sounds great. I hope you have a great time.

Breakfast: half a w/w sandwich with cream cheese, chese and low fat bacon
Lunch: the other half of the sandwich
large piece of pineapple
1 vanilla yogurt

Dinner: probably veggie soup.

Have a great day in the middle of the week!
Take care
Diana

Good morning all.

Breakfast was 4 mini sausage sandwiches and a coke.

Yesterday was a nice weekday vacation (we don't get too many of those). Today I'm taking my son for a CT scan for a mass on this neck (near right side lymph node). Friday I take him to an ENT specialist to retrieve some of the mass for a check. I try to be upbeat and optomistic. You know, us guys are supposed to be a rock. I tell myself, I'm not going to think negative until the doctors tell me to. It's hard, though. Little voices in the back of your head... but I try to keep them there. I definitely don't want him to see me concerned. He's my oldest at 17 (and my only biological son), but still my little boy.

In any case, you all take care of yourselves!!! Winter and flu season is coming... take care!!

Awww Steve....hard as a rock, but we all need to take care of ourselves! will send you good Karma, where is that Karma sign,it seems like we all need it!
I usually use the Prell disinfectant all the time. Do you know that the supermarket cart has the most germs on the handle? Some markets have handy wipes right next to the doorway, I usually get one or two and hold it on the handle,if they don't have it,first thing I do when I get into my car I get my hands full of prell.
I take Zinc Echinacea when I have a cold too. I guess I look like a fanatic, but I try not to catch anything because I see my mom very often,I don't want her to catch anything ,older folk have a harder time recovering.

cofffee
later,
bagel with lox this morning

Hi all well military ID renewed good for another 4 years. And they even did Mr. L's.

Stopped for lunch and had a chicken wrap-it had ranch dressing and very little bacon but I feel like I did something decadent.
