I made strawberry muffins to warm up the kitchen with the oven. I will have a banana a little later and I am drinking coffee by the cupsful.
We are getting mixed forecasts. I don't drive in ice and snow and Mr. VA is not supposed to drive at all by NC law, so we are staying home today.
We started out in our bedroom last night. I couldn't go to sleep, so we went to the guest room. Another good night behind us, so maybe I will be able to get over this soon.

Sunday44° / 28° Monday45° / 24° Tuesday38° / 21° Wednesday46° / 24°
This was the forecast, but they said it was already above freezing. One station mentioned that we won't get snow or ice until tonight, this forecast says Tuesday. It is supposed to be snowing now according to yesterdays prediction. Lacey, I do not know!
When I checked on the temperature the other day, it was the coldest we have been in this town since 1893. Anything under 20 degrees is unacceptable to me. We got down to 8 last week. Maybe the nice warm hospital was a good place to be. Do you think that maybe Mr. VA's brain just froze up? LOL That is a laugh to keep from crying.

Oh,you guys started the Sunday Thread! I almost missed it!
Yeah,it's over 80,but I think this is too abnormal. It's making the flowers confused!
I'd rather have 60 something, too early for the heat! but next week will go down!
I am running out the door to meet mom. I just had some cereal!
Talk later!

just some light rain here NCN. The kids are home from school tomorrow and I'm going into work so I hope we don't have any freezing overnight.
stopped at DD after church...
whole wheat bagel with reduced fat cream cheese
p.s. My vacuum cleaner just broke and I'm thinking of investing in a Oreck upright. Anyone have any feedback on that brand? They have a nice payment plan so I was thinking about it...

Hi Jeannie-no experience-have an upright Hoover. Daughter has a Dyson and loves it.
Just shoveled some left over snow from walk and porch, it's 27 so didn't even wear a jacket. Guess I'm getting used to it here-LOL.
Lunch-cottage cheese,avocado.
Dinner-ham steak, baked sweet pots, peas w/tarragon.
Mr. L's not feeling right today-we reduced the prednisone from 4 to 3 now 2-that's when he flared last time.

Lacey, hope he doesn't get sick. Winter seems to be rough on old men. Sorry, my husband and I joke around like this. I tell him how to fix food just in case I am not here next week. You don't expect things to happen, but our friends are dropping one by one.
