Hi everyone

The visit with our grandson went well but I did not eat well. On top of the brownies I made my stepdaughter brought over homemade cookies and Mallowmars. Not good.

Tomorrow is the first so it is a new day in a new month. Time to really get back on track.

Yes Lisa, first day of the month is a good day for a fresh beginning. We really get a new beginning every day. Just put yesterday behind you and make it a good eating day. I plan to. Some things in life are more important than diet.

Dinner was kaiser roll with 4 slices ham and one slice tomato. There were 3 tomato slices left, so I salted them and ate them.

I maded some cute little treats that might go with Superbowl. Jeannie, you can wait until Monday to start fresh. I took little pretzel squares and put a piece of cheddar cheese between two and microwaved them for a few seconds to bond the cheese to the pretzels. It is not as good as the commercially made ones, but it was really good.

Lisa, its okay. That was a very special occasion with the little one and quite honestly, I couldn't see myself making brownies and resisting. By the way, could you please send some Mallowmars this way?
