Good morning! After a bit of a storm last night, things have cleared up a bit although there is a 30% rain forecast for today. Last night's egg dying was a success... ...and hoping the weather holds up for the big Easter event in Raleigh this morning which the kids have been working us to go to......Judi, everything okay with Mr. "L"? We missed you yesterday. Coffee with sugar in the raw and soymilk so far......happy Saturday! Jeannie

Morning Jeannie,NCN,Izzy,Diana, Lisa.

Thanks for asking-all's okay-just a crazy day here yesterday.

Last night made a tuna casserole and it was slightly salty so didn't eat much of it.

Happy egg hunts all and blessed Easter.

Good morning. Our storm wasn't just a bit. We had one of those red lines go over and it was a bugger. Looked out this morning and it is just beautiful outside. We have a few leaves over the yard and a lot of the apple flowers are gone. I haven't looked at the dogwoods and cherry trees yet. Everything just looks fresh and green. Lacey wish you were here.

Coffee and milk
banana
peach cobbler leftover--it is even good cold.

Thanks, Lacey. There was a while last night when I wondered if we would be one of those people you see on the news. We had rain and it sounded like hail pelting against our windows.

Well, back from the Raleigh Easter egg hunt. There were so many kids pushing and shoving to get the eggs. My son got one egg and my daughter got none. It was like watching hundreds of piranhas after a fish in a fishbowl. Kids were crying with empty baskets...not pretty. Fortunately we were able to take our kids to the marblekids museum across the street and they were happy.

breakfast...

oatmeal with sliced banana
water with lemons
supplements

lunch...

turkey on whole wheat with light mayo

Oh Jeannie really takes away from the fun of it for them-so sad but hey they were with you both.

Lunch was 1/4 chicken salad sandwich.

Dinner-bar-b-cues pork on a bun w/ fries for Mr. L and salad w/mine.

Jeannie, I am so sorry about the Easter Egg Hunt. We have had similar experiences with some activities here. It did not take me long to realize that if it was advertised on WBTV I really didn't want to go there. Too many people watch that station.

Sounds like a good family day. Who besides my oldest is having a birthday today.

Almost forgot to tell you about our little delite tonight. We spotted a possum with a little one on its back eating our cat's food on the patio. It was so sweet holding on while Mom ate.

I made a roast beef with potatoes and biscuits and ate too much, so now I am pretty miserable. It was good while I was eating it. My stomach is no longer made of steel.
