Good morning! As we are at our last day of school today I ask everyone, how do you slow things down! Life is just going quicker and quicker. Today, work, then my daughter's swim team practice, and a work-out for me in the adjoining gym. Coffee with sugar in the raw and soymilk......happy Wednesday! Jeannie
Jeannie I walked in your shoes for many years and it behooves me to think-how did I do it all plus work full time-but we do it. Our daughter blows my mind with 6 and runs her husband's business.
Good morning, Jeannie, Lacey, dogmom, painter, Lisa, MM, and social butterfly Izzy.
Can you believe I am up before 9. Got to go water some plants and fill up the cat feeder. Everybody have a good weekend.
Coffee and milk
very ripe banana
last apple mini danish
It is always a beautiful trip. I had thought I might go up the Blue Ridge Parkway, but the trip a while back changed my mind about that. I forgot how many dangerous curves are on that road. When the weather is rainy as it may be, the parkway gets foggy sometimes too. Best thing about the parkway is that there are no trucks. Guess I am going to be rolling with the trucks today.
NCN, safe trip and take good care, but most of all, have fun!
Izzy - a veggie diet. That's good and very healthy but don't overdo it. You know that the body needs certain things besides veggies lol (for example ice cream hehe)
Slow down??? Jeannie, is that possible, if yes, please tell me the secret! I guess I could have much more free time on my hands if I wouldn't sleep so much. Every day I have off I'm taking a nap when DS is sleeping and I usually go early to bed during the week.
Anyhoo' already jogged a little over three miles in 30 minutes today. I still need to cook dinner (well it'll be dinner for DH and my dad, and lunch for my mom tomorrow) and iron some clothes.
2 cups of milk with instant powder Italian coffee
some strawberries with a wee bit of sugar
1 spelt roll with salad leaves/cucumber slices/slices of sausage
1 big salad w/ two small meat balls
1 chocolate bar
half a wrap with molten cheese and some salad and French dressing
Tonight I took my daughter to her swimming practice and did 2 1/2 miles on the treadmill. Yeah!! I also signed up for 5 sessions with a personal trainer at the gym to get me started.
