I am making carrot and zucchini fritters with natural applesauce for breakfast. I know it's strange but I have to use up the zucchini.

I just chopped carrots, zucchini, brocolli into little pieces, purree them and added an egg whte, then I made a pancake with them. real good, without salt too!

Oh boy Lacey.....I'll bet that was good. A few weeks ago we went to 5 guys in baltimore and I had a double cheeseburger with fries cooked in peanut oil.

Was sooooo good.
Got to do that once in a while.

I usually have 1 point or 0 point foods all day if I have a party, dinner or lunch to go to.
Lately it is often so I must watch.

Enjoy the cottage cheese for dinner

Hi all...

I'm a bit late getting here...

Thanks spiderbear for the recipe!

Lisa the fritters sound great!

Elizamary...I lost about 45 lbs on WW a few years ago...now I'm just trying to keep it off! Still basically try to stick with it...good luck to you!

Izzy...it's 106 on our patio right now...we live in the IE...are you close to me?

NCN...hope you're up and around soon.

Judi...sometimes you just gotta splurge! Last October when we were in N. Myrtle Beach I tried "Fried Corn on the Cob"...it is something I'll probably never have again, but it sure was great...yummmmm...

Breakfast...1/2 of an egg and potato burrito smothered in salsa...

Later....

Good evening, I have been hanging out on the sofa and I am afraid I got into the potato chips and ice cream. I really need to get busy doing something to keep on the straight and narrow.

I did good through lunch. I had green beans and onion stir fry.

This day may be salvageable for no gain. I think a loss today is out of the question. Well you don't get five stars everyday.

Izzy, that fire is too close for comfort.

Carmac, I can get to North Myrtle Beach in a little over 2 hours if the traffic is good. We sometimes go down for a day. We can go and take in a matinee show sometimes too.

When we were in Tennessee we went to a fish fry and they had deep fried pickles. Mr. VA tried them, but there are just some things that are a little too far out for me. I think they were breaded and deep fried??

Okay...seems that I remember that you went to the 'get together' in Ranch Cucumonga last year with a group that met at Victoria Gardens...am I right?

NCN-the stars wiped out the calories. And tomorrow's another day.

I am so full from that bac. chburger and about 6 onion rings that I may skip even cottage cheese. That is something that never would've stopped me in the past-full or not it was dinnertime so you ate!!! Have ribs and corn heating for Mr. L.

Izzy windows closed, a/c on and stay in. So very sad what's happening there.

Wow NCN, you are close! My ds and her dh have a house down there and I absolutely love it! I like driving over to Little River...infact that is where I actually got the fried corn...at Capt. Jules Hurricane Restaurant! Love to sit out on their deck on the water. I'd love to live down there if I could!
