NCN We do have fires every year and we get over it.Don't have much rain here,if we do those homes in Malibu slide down and are rebuilt. But I heard that this fire near pasadena is the worst since 1920. So we are worried about it. Like Carmac says we are proud of our firefighters!

Very true Lacey!

The news was showing a wild life conservation on Mt Wilson. The firefighters are trying to keep the fire away from it.Also there are many radio and TV stations and an observatory which I didn't know about. I have been to just the beginning of the trail. Didn't know there are so many things up there. The little animals can be moved. but there are tigers, orangutangs and other big animals that are hard to carry. I heard there will be some rain and humidity. I do feel the humidity, like very hot and humid.

Had some mexican black beans and chicken at noon. not sure what to eat right now.

Yes Izzy, it does feel a bit more humid than it's been in days...hopefully this will help some...

For lunch I ate the other half of last nights hamburger and had cole slaw on the side.

For dinner I had a grilled chicken wrap from Wendy's. Light and not super filling.

Good night all...

After being so good before I left for a bike tour with the ladies of my step aerobic class I was really hungry afterwards. So I toasted a kaiser roll and had one half with cream cheese, the other with thin slices of Salami. Along with it went 2 small pickled pepperonis.
Snack before going to bed: some jelly babies and a piece of chocolate... My my, I just couldn't resist.
