Jeannie - that is so appropriate since we are flooded in today. Can't get across our driving bridge due to the all the rain, so looks like no work today. I have been up since 4;30 waiting to see if the water has gone down

Drinking water now but soon make the usual -

egg whites and turkey bacon, mushrooms.

Good morning ladies. Today is the big day. We have to put the big TV back in the motor home and head down the mountain about 2 1/2 hours away. Hopefully the new motor home/van will be great. We haven't seen it yet.

Chickrae- Stay safe. We haven't had any flooding here but only because we are on top of a mountain. Take care of yourself.

We will be on the road today. First the mh deal, then we have to stop and buy a new TV for my DH. We only had one in the house and it was the one that belonged on the mh. It will be a long day. I feel bad for the dog.

Black coffee right now. Oatmeal and blueberries before we leave. Lunch on the road. Dinner will depend if we are home by then.

younglisa - thanks. The water has come down and I did get across. You never know though. Seems the holding ponds behind us flood and then all of a sudden we are flooded. Luckily our house is higher up. We live on 2 1/2 acres so we are a little ways from the bridge we cross.

villagelife - I will send you some rain. It has rained for at least 10 days on and off.

breakfast - I also wrapped my eggs/turkey in a small tortilla..just felt like some carbs today.

Take care

Good morning ladies....yet another rainy day here. We've had over 8 inches of rain this month! Trees are starting to uproot and fall...sigh

So far, 1/2 cup of coffee, but I'm hungry so guess I will get some breakfast.

Been on the phone with my BIL who drives a truck. He is in Avon, Ohio and is sick. Finally found a place to park his truck and is heading to an urgent care or the hospital!

dh didn't sleep well last night, so he is sleeping in, or trying to. I snuck in and grabbed his cell so it won't wake him when it rings...

Looks like my day is going to be busy, hope I can squeeze in some office work!

Lisa, good luck on your MH deal and be careful, you guys have had a lot of rain as well.

Chickrae, how very scary that sounded! you be careful for sure going back home...

Izzy I wish I could blow this rain we've been having your way...it's gotten to the point it is creating a danger with the trees!

jeannie I wish I were in that gazebo enjoying a nice brunch while on vacation in a sunny place!!!

will check in later when things calm down a bit.

Good morning ladies...

Wow...I'm with Izzy on this one...send us some rain...California is so dry! My dh heard that the winds could start up, and that's not good because then the fires will start up also! I guess everyone is having lots of rain...my sister lives north of Atlanta and I guess they've had flooding around there too!

Lisa...good luck today...stay safe!

Chickrae...glad you got to work okay!

Jeannie...thanks for all you do...I love being here!!

This morning I've only had my coffee and will later have my yogurt.

Lunch will be a chicken taco from Chipotle Mexican Grill...it isn't but about 4-5 WW points, and it's delicious. It's kind of like subway...they make your food in front of you...so I get a little rice, a few black beans and lots of veggies with chicken...and it's very filling!

Dinner...I think I'll finish up the veggies I cut up the other day and add the pasta, etc..maybe have a Boca Burger with those...we'll see...

Be safe everyone and have a good day!

Good morning everybody. We are hanging out this morning before going to bingo this afternoon. Looks like our normal monsoon season has arrived here in North Carolina. We depend on this to fill up our lakes so we can have water. Lake Norman was really up when we went by Sunday. There is a little place we call Gilligan's Island on the right of I-77 on the second body of water going North from Charlotte. All we could see were the tree tops on the island. We have had just normal amounts of rain here in Mineral Springs. It seems to go above us and below us.

I just made a discovery about my eating. I ran out of bananas the other day and just had yogurt for breakfast. One little 60 calorie yogurt and a couple of cups of coffee kept me until lunch and I was not hungry. If I add the banana, I am hungry in no time??

Vanilla Dannon light and fit yogurt
Coffee and milk and I think I will have another one.

I want that gazebo in my back yard and it would fit just as in the picture. Our back yard does a slight slope upward right behind our patio.
