Thats what is so nice about coming here. Everyone is supportive of each other. What a terrific group! My son won his football game and today was homecoming so I am glad I got to go instead of DH. All the senior players who won't be coming back next year and will be playing for middle school marched on the field with their parent and had their names called over the speaker. Each boy gave their parent a blue ribbon to wear and I was able to get a picture of the two of us. I don't do well with milestones. Brought tears to my eyes that he is growing up so quickly.

lunch...

vanilla non fat yogurt with flaxseed and Grapenuts

snack...

reduced fat Chex Mix

Lacey! Happy birthday to your grandson!

Didn't eat until 3 today, too hot to eat! it was 90+

Went to a Burmese Restaurant near me,that's the only one I know of. It's very tiny, the food is very spicy with lots of potatos and noodles. They also have Thai food there
I had Burmese boiling bean fried rice with chicken, which basically is some tiny beans size of a pinto bean. Fried opo,a kind of squash. It's pretty good.

Have a great evening!

Good evening, er, it's almost SUnday...sorry..

Bit late, cooked breakfast (bacon, eggs and canned biscuits--I only had a biscuit with a tiny spoon of egg and 1/2 slice bacon on it!!)

Then dh cleaned kitchen as I researched some things online for him....

Then it was off to the football game today! I was so proud of our guys, this is their first year, and they are really bad---this was their last game, it went into overtime and they poured everything they had into it....got beat by 1 lousy point! Still it was a win win season for them because a long held dream of starting a football program finally became a reality this year.

Afterwards, we went to my mom's restaurant (son chose where to eat ...) and I was craving protein....got a salad, steak with baked sweet potato and did not touch the bread....feel much better, guess the body was craving it for a reason.

Hope all of you had a great day today.
