Happy Birthday Lisa. I have a daughter exactly your age.
This is the second time I am attempting to post this morning. First one fizzled.
Coffee and milk
banana
yogurt
Time to go to bingo where I will have a gravy biscuit--my winnings from last week. We will purchase a senior coffee to go along with that.

We also won an egg and cheese biscuit and a bacon biscuit. Mr. VA will take the bacon and put it on the egg biscuit and I am planning to eat that later with a tomato slice. That probably means tomato soup for dinner for both of us. Forgot that he will also have a sweet potato pie that we won also. So here are our total winnings: gravy biscuit, egg and cheese biscuit, bacon biscuit and a sweet potato pie.

We were only allowed to win twice each last week. This week it will probably be once, because we have more people every other week. A rest home brings their patients that can come out. We all have such a fun time.

Happy Birthday!!!!!! And many many happy returns!

Only a quick check in before falling into bed and hoping I can sleep tonight. I have been nursing a real bad headache since yesterday morning and it just didn't get better. The pills I took didn't work and sleep didn't help either last night. Instead I was wandering around the house looking for some stronger pills to take. Finally, when I was sound asleep, Miguel woke me happily at 5 a.m. and told me he's wide awake and wants to get up
Today a back ache joined the headache so I went to the doc after work and got me some medicine. Tomorrow I'll call in sick till Friday but I need to get to work at least for an hour or two - too bad there's nobody there to do my work when I'm gone

1 slice of w/w bread with liverwurst (?)
1 slice of buttered brioche
1 white wheat bun with mushroom/cheese salad
half a yogurt
1 pear
1 wrap stuffed with iceberg salad, 1 cherry tomatoe, 3 slices of cucumber, mustard dressing and 2 mini bratwurst (fried in slices) + 1 slice of molten cheese (definitely needed that tonight!)

Okay, gotta go.
Have a great day all.

Lunch was out and was a grilled chicken breast on ciabatta with bourbon glaze-I ate 1/2 the roll and was full.
