Tuesday's "healthy, weathly and wise" Journal
Good morning! Yesterday at work one of our "senior" pediatricians took his blood pressure and it was 90/64! When I asked him how he had such a great BP, he said absolutely no salt. At one time he was borderline high blood pressure and his doctor told him watch the salt. I believe he tries to keep it at 60 mg or below per serving. Salt seems to be in everything we eat. Of course he is a marathon runner and I'm sure that helps. So, whats on your schedule for today? Coffee with sugar in the raw and soymilk so far... ...happy Tuesday! Jeannie

Breakfast will be usual yog/fruit.

Good morning and my pressure is good too but with meds. although 90 is very low.
I was happy with 124.
Breakfast.......a few grapes and toast with a tablespoon of crunchy peanut butter.
Lunch soup
Not cooking dinner. We have left over ground beef from last night so DH will have a burger.
I'm not feeling well so I'm treading lightly on food.
Going to try eating small bits throughout he day.
I am going to make a spinach salad.

Good morning and my pressurea was litttle below normal or just about normal. Now for the past year has been a little above normal. Trying to cut salt, but it's impossible,I eat out a lot. Chinese restaurants all over,I just eat out with clients once in a while. Some have less MSG and some have it. That is my problem.
Just mixed banana, apple, grapes, little bit of yogurt in a blender. will have my normal stuff later after I take my walking.

Jeannie - so is 120/70 good? That's what mine was the other day.
Ok real quick, because I am at work as usual -
breakfast -
egg whites with all the usual
mid morning -
yogurt with fruit frozen
No rain today, I hope, as I just washed my car!

Good morning ladies...my BP is good...not sure of the numbers though, but when I went to the Dr. last week it was fine.
I'm off to lunch with ladybee this afternoon and we're going to a Mexican Restaurant...so I've got to watch the chips and salsa!
For breakfast I had my coffee and cottage cheese.
Have a great day dear friends...

That sounds great. I just think his is exceptionally low and probably because he is an athlete and very rigid with his eating.
