Monday's "Back on track" food journal
Good morning everyone.
It's been so long since I've visited the food journal regularly so it's back on track from now on
For those I haven't contacted yet: happy new year! All the best but most of all health and happiness for you and your families!
We have quite a lot of snow in our area (haven't had that much in 30 years ) and I love it as much as Miguel loves it.
So after work today we'll go out with his sleigh, yippie
So what are you up to today???
Diana

Dinner-beef/veg soup.
Happy Monday all.

Good morning ladies and good to see everybody. Diana, snow is for the young. Glad you are enjoying it.
Izzy, glad your group had a good time. We are sort of like a family on here. So my distant relatives had a get together. You are all looking good.
Judi, it is below 20 here today. We are told it is going to last. Hope it kills the fire ants. Sorry, but those things are like a plague to me. I hate them. I just discovered a new killer for fire ants. Pour club soda in their hill. If they come up next Spring, I will be keeping club soda on hand. It is supposed to kill the queen by taking all the oxygen away?? Worth a try.
Coffee and milk
banana
scrambled eggs
biscuit

I'm hoping this is the Tuesday journal...if not, I am majorlly confused!!!
Good morning ladies, Happy New Year....
Dh and I are getting on track, both of us need to lose weight and improve our overall health, it's not bad, but we are getting older! Also on the agenda somewhere in this is to quit smoking, sigh....
Weather is a factor here as we are cold and getting colder with lows expected in single digits Wed and Thurs and w/c as much as 10 below....that's cold for Mississippi..!
So, my plan to clear out fridge and restock with more healthy foods has been put on hold yet another couple days due to weather....no way am I going out in this cold ....will have to make do.

You can do it AiAngel-I know cold weather's a challenge we all need comfort food.
Have a new refrig being delivered tomorrow-I am happy dancing. Our's is a GE, not 5 yrs. old and just awful-nothing but problems. New one a Whirlpool.
Lunch ended up out and it was a grilled chicken bourbon sauce sandwich.
Dinner-the soup-which I defatted.
Keep warm all-just heard snow here Weds/Thurs. and we're 20 deg below what we normally should be.

1 white wheat bun
3 chicken nuggets
1 slice of w/w bread and a fried egg
After dinner it was time for my sit-ups again and I even squeezed some other exercises in between.
Good night and sweet dreams!
