Hi, I'm planning on relocating to DFW from Seattle in July and wanted to gauge how much electricity / gas / water / garbage / sewer will run me over there. I know that it will be much more than I'm paying now since the Puget Sound has some of the cheapest electricity in the country and it's about 25 degrees cooler here in the summer. We will be renting a 2000 sq. ft home in Plano until our house sells and then be purchasing a home (2500-3K sq ft) once we get our house sold up here.

I saw there were a few threads addressing this from a couple of years ago, but I just wanted to know what everyone else was paying right now.

Thanks.

I had a 1600 sf home in plano and the sewer, garbage, and water was around $75. I used to pay about $250 a month in electricity at the most and my house was 100% electric with no gas.

My house is a little over 2100SF, and our water / gas runs about $60 - $90 (more in the summer when the grass needs watering). Our electric runs about $110 in the winter, but jumps to around $350-$400 in the summer.
