Hi,

The screw of my car's rear license plate is rusted and broken teeth. How to get the screw out and install the rear license plate (cheaply) in Dallas TX?

Thanks,

You will need to get a small hacksaw blade and cut the head off the screw. Walmart or Home Depot will should have a small hacksaw for $2-$3.

Don't forget WD-40. It might help it on the way out and when you put a new one in, try greasing the threads of the screw with Vasoline which will help prevent it from rusting or a commercial grease from an auto parts store.

put nail polish on the new screw before you put it in or spray it with some clear acrylic to coat it
you could also use a plastic screw--
