well, there's no question if this thing is really under construction now. No more arguments as to if this was only a groundbreaking ceremony. They already fenced off and have started shoveling. I sure hope they know what they're doing.

Lets just hope this isn't going to be another pretty Downtown Dallas building that will be sitting empty for awhile. Hopefully its proximity to Uptown & the Woodall Rogers Park Deck will give it a boost. *crosses fingers*

Are they going to do away with that surface lot & turn it into a parking garage or build one across the street?

They are going to turn it into green space.

They changed the name of Woodall Rodgers Deck Park to The Park, I hate that name.

Oh ok. I thought that cleared off area was the site of the actual tower. I see the green space now.

This is going to link Downtown Dallas and Uptown Skyline. Uptown is looking real nice in the back drop. Dallas does seem to be looking more like a traditional city IMO.

The cleared off area is the site of the tower, the green space is that parking lot across the street.

What is Dallas going to do to fix "Victory Park". This should be a top priority for the city considering the project had millions invested in it.
