I really have to question this project. $1 million for every condo is wayy over estimating the market. Granted this project will be unique and in a great location but i dont think 200 people will be willing to pay that much. The market for places like this does not exist in Dallas. Look at "The House", they had the selling point of a french designer, in the luxurious victory park and all those selling points. They had places starting at $500k, couldnt sell any, moved down to $400k with 100% financing and still only 6 of 135 units have been sold. Museum Tower will be a beautiful building but i am scared for its success.

Same thing with the Ritz, which had the namebrand going for it, but still isn't selling well. The Museum Tower was not going to be built without the City of Dallas using the Firefighters Pension fund. They're hoping by 2013 that people will start buying the condos up, but there are other condos that need filling, too.

With the park deck going over woodall rogers it should help make this area attractive but that begs another question...how loud with that park be? Ive walked over freeways before and i know i wouldnt be able to talk on my cell phone while i was walking over it.
