Hi:

I am looking to buy a new house with good commuting proximity to Lewisville (within 20 - 25 miles).

My goal is to find a one-story with a zero lot in a nice area. Budget is anywhere from $300-$600K.

Recommendations on good areas, builders and subdivisions will be greatly appreciated.

New 1 story zero lot line? Very hard to find since most are 2 story.

There is 1 builder in Lantana doing such and if a 2 story is OK there are others in the area within 10 miles of Lewisville.

Yes, unfortunately it has to be a one story.

I can only think of 1 builder doing these and they are closing out. They run in the $400-450 price range.

The K Hov model Cimarron is a one story home. Actually, they have several one story homes in their portfolio. I'm not sure what the lots are like in Carrollton or their other developments in the area (rather small I'm guessing, but maybe not zero). You could call K Hov and see if they have what you're looking for.

Here are a few I found in or very near Lewisville, through Google searching:

Wyndale Meadows New Home Community - Lewisville - Dallas / Ft. Worth, Texas | Lennar Homes

Estates of Indian Creek - New Homes in Carrollton, TX 75010 | Ryland Homes

Lakeside DFW 55s in Flower Mound, Texas - Darling Homes

Hunters Glen in Flower Mound, Texas - Darling Homes ("coming soon")

New Homes at Hills of Vista Ridge | Lewisville, TX | Pulte Homes New Home Builders

Look into each of these communities, they may have other builders in them as well. I know where I live, a "new" master planned community in Forney, they have 4 different builders that way you have the option to choose which builders style you may like more than others.
