I don't think hot is better than cold (IMHO). You can always bundle up more and more in the cold, in the heat there is only so much you can take off to help beat the heat. Give me a summer in the cold city of San Francisco over this any day (but not much else, I am from SF, and while if I had to live in a large city it would be SF, SF is very overrated). And I'm just talking hot vs. cold, not humidity vs. snow. As much as I HATE HATE HATE humidity, I'll still take it over snow since snow causes many problems.

^ Haha. See your point there. :P
I've lived in CT.. but as for the other states: FL,TX & TN.. guess I'm not too fond of the cold weather.

There is a reason people move to "nice suburbs" that are growing. Just look what happened to McKinney Plano etc. Wylie is next.
I hope you are right, but I am more cautious. I am simply going to enjoy my cheap huge newer home that I pay a mortgage on (and not rent) and go from there.

Without a freeway (or tollway) running directly to it (or through it), it won't grow really crazy like Frisco.

Sounds like someone has a very big chip on their shoulder. I have been in Wylie since 1971. Yes all of my schooling and rasied a family here. Spent time in the Army. You should talk with others from other states. Everyone complains about taxes. Race problems. And yes I was raised in a Baptist church. Do I go now, No I don't. But do not blame anything on what one or two people say. And by the way I also worked at Sanden for 7 years in R&D and wind tunnel. Met some very nice folks there. Mr Toyota and his son Both very nice and honorable men.
To me is sounds like you did not get your American dream here in Texas. So go ahead and drive your Ass back to Cali with the other nuts and flakes. Sounds like you will fit in there. And the one gentleman that lived there, HMM he is not having a problem here in Texas.
Oh by the way hope you are driving a car that has Cali emmision controls so when you change your plates it passes all their smog crap.
Did I say that????

I'm pretty surprised by the responses here, which have been taunting.

All this equates to a dismissal of what the OP alleges- instances of racism against a black person and against a Hispanic person.

Do you people really just shrug off these allegations without considering the implications if they're true?

I know, you think this is funny.

You people describe Californians and fruits and nuts, or the like. How would you describe yourselves? I would choose the term country trash. Seems about right.
