Not at all. I live in the Heights Park neighborhood of Richardson and am very happy with my decision to live here. As TurtleCreek80 stated there are great neighborhoods in Richardson west of 75. This is definitely one of them! The elementary and high schools that this neighborhood is zoned to are rated exemplary (don't know about the middle school) and it is nice and quiet. There are a lot of elderly people living here but they are being replaced by young couples and weirdo single buyers like me. You could find a great house in your price point very easily in this neighborhood. But if you work downtown, the commute could be a dealbreaker. Beats the commute from Plano or Allen though, and I would not even consider Frisco!

TGood,

Where are your jobs? In addition to these good suggestions, there are areas of Plano and Richardson that offer 3/2's that you could be very happy with. Knowing your work locations would give us the ability to give you more informed answers on the pros/cons of different areas of Dallas and surrounding areas. Also, it sounds like ya'll might not have children yet, are schools important to you as well?

Ryan
