We are planning on moving to DFW hopefully sooner rather than later from East Texas. I would like to have at least half an acre and we looked at Prosper this past weekend and that seems to be out of our price range. Since our move can be next month or next year, depending on a new job, we are just looking at purchasing a subdivision lot. It seems I can get a 1 acre lot in Celina but would you like to hear people's thoughts on their school district and the town in general. I know from the searches i've done here sports is a big deal there and academics takes a back seat. Do you guys think this will change as more people move in?

Academics are paramount in importance as well. It is almost as pricey as Prosper but some reasonably priced neighborhoods as well. We recently moved back to Celina after being gone for about six years and would have considered no where else. To me and my three children, ages 9,10 and 15 the schools are superb. Ranked exemplary, I have no complaints.
