Question Tile / Travertine contractor - help!
Help! We had someone over to demo our kitchen floor to put in travertine. They did the demo and haven't come back! It's been almost 2 weeks. We've been trying to find someone else but people say they'll show up and they don't. Is there any one or any company that people would recommend? Thanks!

Default Travertine Tile Guy
We used a guy by the name of Al Baker (469-222-7428) last year and he did excellent tile work in our bathroom and rebuilt our shower. He lives somewhere in the McKinney, Anna, Melissa area.

angie's list is website for subscrivers in local areas where people post reviews of local trades/businesses/restaurants/services--so you get feedback like on Tripadvisor where people post info about their hotel/travel stays...

I have used it for couple of years--found a very good electrician and plumber through it--when people I knew did not really have anyone to recommend....think a year's cost is about 30 bucks but that is probably not accurate...
not everyone listed gets rave reviews and sometimes one person might have good experience and someone else a negative but at least it is more than just one person's opinion...the one in FTW that I use is not as active as the Dallas site...
