Going through the archives, seems to be Rice Middle School in Plano. How about Frisco. Thoughts and recommendations are appreciated.

I would lean more towards PISD as they are a more established school district. And generally speaking, the feeder schools to Plano West Senior High will be more academically inclined, so for middle schools...Robinson and Rice are good. Honestly, the academic environment at most of the middle schools in PISD are pretty competent, so then it becomes a matter of personal student drive/ambition if you're seeking academic achievements.

It's true that Rice probably has the largest %age of brainiacs among the Plano ISD schools. However, there are certainly other PISD schools that shouldn't be dismissed out of hand. Murphy MS produced Amy Chyao (Google her and be amazed). Other middle schools with positive reps are Hendrick and Haggard in the Plano Senior cluster, and Robinson, Schimelpfenig, and Renner in the Plano West area.

I am a big non-fan of Frisco ISD. Having said that, the schools feeding into Liberty HS seem to have the best performance and best reputation in FISD.
