Hello --

I'm looking for the best liquor store in Dallas -- one that that might carry a rare single malt scotch I am searching for.

I have been to Siegels in Richardson and the location off of Greenville. I'm hoping there are some small "boutique" dealers I can add to my search.

Thanks for any suggestions.

I would check out liquor stores in the nice areas of town. There is a little liquor store in Lakewood called Kindred Spirits that has good stuff and a very friendly staff. You should call them ahead of time if they carry the liquor you're looking for. I'll bet they'll even tell you if they know anyone in Dallas that carries it. Also, there is a Centennial just north of University Park on Preston by the BankOne building that carries high end stuff.

Monticello Liquor has some brands that other stores do not carry. You might want to check them out online.

Majestic in Addison would also be a good choice.

What is the name of the scotch? I go to the Segals on Greenville, they have additional scotch behind the doors next to the scotch on the shelves.

The big Goody Goody near Greenville and Walnut Hill has always been good. Call first tosee if they have it, and if not, I'm sure they can order it.
