The newest ESPN 30 for 30 movie premieres today, December 12th. It's based on SMU's cheating scandals of the 1980s when they were a national powerhouse, the death penalty they ultimately received, and the aftermath to what they've become now. There will also be a lot on the Dallas culture and oil money that fueled these scandals.

These movies are always VERY well done. My favorite so far has been the one on Miami University, but this one might be even better.

Er, watched it Saturday night. But overall was a pretty accurate assessment of what went on at SMU during the 80's as well as a lot of the other DI schools across the country. They just weren't as audacious as SMU.
