I like a single story home in Collin county; it has one bathroom less that what I need, I am just wondering
a) Ballpark cost to add a bathroom to an existing single story home (assuming there is enough room around the house to add)
b) How difficult it is to get approved by county (Collin county)
Thanks.

You need to get approvale from the CITY building inspection, not the county.

Thank you, will browse through 'City of Plano Building Inspections Department' website to see if I can get any info.

has anyone done this before?, meaning went through this process of applying with City of Plano to add a bathroom. Doesn't look that straight forward, probably best is to look for another house with required bathrooms
