There are some affordable apartments south of E. Lovers Lane, close to Skillman. Older, from the 70's. The schools are right though.
By the way, where is the bad Greenville area?

Your 150K is worth about $625 a month so add in the $470, maintenance and leasing overhead of $200 a month and your carrying costs are about $1300. You will have to factor in your tax situation and expected appreciation but you can see making this work takes a pretty high rental rate which only happens with a very good location. |

Not very encouraging...
Lakewooder speaks so highly of his area, that I thought I'd give it a shot. Now I don't know... I need to at least break even.

I was thinking of checking out the apartments around E. Lovers Ln. and Skillman. Is that area safe? Desirable at all?
