After looking at many homes in Frisco, Allen and Mckinney we have narrowed it down to two areas: Frisco and Mckinney. This is our dilema:
Both homes are similar price range, square footage, upgrades and new. The Frisco home is on Teel and El Dorado and the Mckinney home is on Mallard Lakes. Both are similar distances to our work (Plano) and private schools (Plano)
Although we love Frisco, Mallard Lakes seems like a very nice neighborhood but we have been told that that area will most likely decline because of its surroundings. I need to know your opinion, we just relocated 6 month ago and not very familiar.

I forgot to add that we like both homes and both neighborhoods.

Isn't the Teel/Eldorado area where the Exide battery plant issue is? I thought that was within the 2 mile radius or else VERY near it.

Wow! This is really good information..Not that Frisco was high on my list, but it is officially off now. I can't believe this company behaved this way! I would be livid if I were a homeowner with children.

Frisco and anything downwind of it are off my list, and exide batteries are too.

We are also on the search for a home and we were thinking of ruling out Frisco.
