I'm with you. I will never give any cable company one dime of my money. They are always voted first when it comes to the worse customer service. I have been with Directv for 11 years and see no reason to change.

i've told this story before - but we read all of the negativity about twc and were scared so we were going w/ at&t. we were excited about getting uverse b/c a few of you said you liked it and we were getting pretty good channels. AND - we were getting internet and a phone (we didn't really need a phone) but it was all $75. so we thought that was a bargain. then when we get here, a dish guy tries to install a dish and uverse isn't even available here... so the lady sold us something they couldn't even give us. we couldn't have a dish at our apt. hanging over the balcony, so we would have to use a tripod and the way our apt. faces (not south i guess) makes a tripod impossible to use as well - SO we had to cancel everything, spend a ton of time on the phone, and then call timewarner to have them turn on cable and internet. it only took them a few days to come out though - but maybe b/c we're in an apartment and all they have to do is access the magic closet. haha.

anyway - that's my horror story w/ at&t and so far no troubles at all w/ twc - hopefully we won't have a problem.
