Does anything compare to Frisco?
I see gorgeous new homes for sale in Frisco for under 200K. Perfect, since we're looking for something a year old or newer. Are there any other towns/cities around DFW that offer the same???
Thanks!

Denton is cool - but it's different. Different strokes for different folks.

I think a lot of areas compare to it as far as house cost; however, Frisco has a lot of other things going for it for some, i.e., the mall, sports, etc. It's a little too crowded for me, but I can see why it's *the place* to be in Collin County.

Frisco is all facade if you are asking me...behind the set pieces you will find some interesting things. And don't forget about the foreclosures - they don't call it "Frisclosure" for nothing...

I think so far, you're the only one I've seen call it that.... As to the OP's question, there are plently of places that offer nice homes under $200. My first question would be to ask you where you're working.
