A lot of Lewisville is "iffy" I know a few Lewisville PD. Flower Mound is good from what I know, Corinth schools are Excellent and lots of police officers from many cities live in Corinth too....

Taxes in Denton County are way too high though in my opinion and that's why I sold my home in Corinth

The schools are excellent in FM.

Property Taxes in Denton County varies. Corinth has one of the highest taxes in Denton County @ 2.69%. Flower Mound is 2.15%.
Likewise in Tarrant County, Southlake is 2.51%, Keller is 2.6%, Grapevine is 2.27%, Fort Worth is 2.81% to name a few.

Grapevine has DFW airport to add to its tax base
if any other town had that kind of revenue from a business it too would probably have lower tax rate

You're really focused on this gas drilling for some reason. I live up the FM area. It's a total non-issue in real life.

I believe Corinth is Lake Dallas ISD. I attended school there for a year. It's not horrible, but it needs work and it definitely does not compare to Flower Mound's schools.

If at all possible, try to live somewhere in the Frisco school districts!
