My 8 year old has gotten into chess a big way this past year. We'll be moving to the Dallas area in early July. Can anyone point me to local chess schools or programs in the Dallas area? Good local coaches?

Thanks for your responses. This forum is terrific!

Thank you both for your replies. I did hear that UTDallas has one of the best chess programs in the US. Also wondering if anyone can point me to some goo chess coaches in the Dallas area?

Thanks!
Dee

That's a pretty specialized request. I'd check out the UTD Chess camp from that link.
