I know there are lot of jobs in CA, NY/NJ, VA,DC but many people are moving to tx because of low housing cost but do we know in which area in software do we have jobs.

My fiance and I are relocating to TX by April 1st. Currently he is a Lead Software Developer and out of all the places calling him the Dallas area has lots of jobs. I read that in the industry the top cities are: NYC, Chicago, Houston, Dallas.....go to www.dice.com and just look at how many positions are available.

Dallas is hiring a lot of positions.

I'd put your resume on the jobs boards and list your area as the DFW area.

Update your Linked In profile so recruiters in the DFW area will get hits when searching, that's a good source of oppportunities (some of the best jobs aren't posted, just recruited for, and Linked In is a prime source for many of those). Otherwise, try some of the bigger engines (I like INDEED since it searches several other job engines) and do some keyword searches of the DFW area...
