whats a city in between the two? My jobs in Irving but i heard of a really good doctor in Denton so im trying to stay close to the two. Im looking for a good preschool for my daughter and a good daycare for my second oldest. My rental budget is about $1100 monthly but im willing to offset my rent with money from my savings if needed, im willing to look into 2 bedrooms(if over 1200sq ft, with open floor plan and big beautiful kitchen ) but i really would like 3, at least 1.5 bathrooms. If anyone could help me i would greatly appreciate it.
Thank You

Don't mean to be intrusive, but is this doctor in Denton a specialist for a unique medical condition? I am asking because the Dallas area (including Irving) has so many wonderful doctors and hospitals it does seem unusual that you would make a housing decision based on a doctor's location. That said, Flower Mound would be a good location for working in Irving and wanting proximity to Denton, too. However you may have difficulties finding a place in your budget there.

surely you can use a map and see the towns that are between Denton and Irving--
and I am sure that there are many good preschools and daycares--
there is so much variation in what one person might say is "good"

there is an ob named dr. cummings that does vbamc (vaginal births after multiple csections) and i was refered to him from a friend of mines down there. I had a hard time finding a doctor that would allow me to have a vaginal birth after 2 csections. If i can find another doctor in another area i would diffenently be willing to change my location.

Have you tried a MOM's forum, there are many online mom support groups. We do have very congested traffic patterns here in the DFW area so the last 8 weeks of pregnancy could be pretty uncomfortable getting caught in traffic because you are driving so much both to work and the OB.

On another note, I think it will be difficult to find a place with a beautiful kitchen and 3 bedrooms within your budget. Be mindful that our commutes during rush hour take about 2-3 minutes a mile. Finding the right doctor is your first priority, it seems. May I suggest you spend a bit more effort asking and seeking the OB you need -- but look in Irving, Grapevine, Coppell, Hurst,Euless, Bedford, Grand Prairie (GP has some highly rated schools and nice areas and also blighted areas so you just have to look) Lewisville, North Dallas and Flower Mound.
