We will be moving to the area soon and I wanted to see if anyone had a pediatrician they could recommend. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I used Dr. Julie Poole when we lived there. She's great! It's not her way or the highway. She gives options and opinions.

If you're coming in from Wylie and Sachse down 544 or even Campbell/Blackburn, she's very convenient at Renner and North Star. I was in town a couple of weeks ago and my 6 month old had scarlet fever. I still had her cell number (which I'm not supposed to have, but there was an emergency when my daughter was just a few days old) and called it by mistake instead of her office number, and she answered at 8am on a Monday morning!

I was going to recommend Dr. Reese Mathieu. Same office with Dr Poole. Several families I know use the doctors at that office.

If you are looking for something in particular (holistic, good with allergies, etc.) the DFW Area Moms message board is a fantastic place to ask
