I need to go for a burger today. What are the best burger places in Dallas, I mean Dallas proper withing the loop, not the whole Metro area. Best bar burgers? Restaurant Burgers? No fast food, just a great burger.

Best bar burger is a "Better Cheese Cheeseburger" at The Old Monk 75 and Henderson. Pick any cheese from their cheese board and have it on your cheeseburger. I like Stilton on mine. Cooked to order from Rare to Well Done. Order skinny fries. Belgian style cooked in low temp oil to get a fluffy inside, then flashed in hot oil for a crispy outside. Best burger and fries in Dallas.

Another great place is called JGs hamburgers on Greenville just south of LBJ, the sign outside says Mike's old fashioned, but it hasn't been that in some time..
