So true

Great suggestion. Carrollton also has a large trail system, too.

Most of Frisco, Allen, McKinney, etc tends to be the "middle managers" of the companies you do work for along the Legacy corridor vs the entrepreneurs and A/B level execs in the other neighborhoods I mentioned.
This is to someone who wants to be a multi-million dollar home so that he can sit at the library to work on his computer. I tend to think moving and shaking isn't his speed.

I didn't mean socially, I meant business movers & shakers. I'm sure he would enjoy developing a bigger network in Dallas so he can expand his business.

3-5mil on a house, nah, too much work. We got a 5000sq ft house on .75 lot in a very nice area back home. You have to contend with HOA BS, yard guys, house keeping and don't even get me started on the pool guy And that is just under a million. I can only imgaine the hassle with running a larger house, on a larger lot. Heck, the wife and I are having a blast in our Uptown apartment. We have a lady come in once a week to clean up the place and the apartment managment takes care of he rest..ah, the simple life

So nope, I would sell out and buy a Yacht

Yeah, I'm thinking a $3-5 million dollar house here would require a House Manager.

Prosper was put in the list due to the types of homes and lot sizes offered.Prosper unlike other northern suburbs, does not offer an abundance of starter home neighborhoods and apartments.I would not want to buy even a $ 500,000 house in a city with alot of neighborhoods that have homes starting at say $140,00.Unlike west Plano (I agree with other posters that in the million plus range west Plano should not be a contender. The location would be close to Headquartes drive.Prosper would be a good choice for the op if his range was 1 million plus. It is not unusual for homes in Prosper to list for over 1 million.
Why no love for Preston Hollow?
