190 can be bad but it's usually OK. I haven't ever driven on 121 because I have no reason to be on there.

Agreed. I35E is VERY NARROW in spots, especially in the junction from hell with I-30. And I've noticed the roads ending without warning...we can't get a "lane ends merge left" sign or two?

You know there are a lot of people in Dallas who don't need freeways and don't use them...

Yup, the frontage roads are great, and life would be even better if the left AND center lane bandits stuck to them...

I think Lakewooder was referring to people who live and work inside 635.

I live and work on opposite sides of Dallas proper -- live in Casa View, work near Love Field -- and it takes me 35 minutes consistently from driveway to office chair without ever touching a freeway. It's a pretty nice scenic drive too around White Rock Lake and through Highland Park. If I took my chances on the freeway, I would only at best shave 10 minutes off of my time. If there was a wreck, construction, or heavy traffic I might be stuck on the freeway for an hour. No thanks.

Yes sir, I've witnessed this first hand coast to coast as well....wife can even testify to me complaining about it in Florida last month.

Something I've noticed more lately both because it's happened to me and I've seen it happen to others is someone in the right lane who insists on driving there while people are attempting to merge from the entrance ramp. I see it when there is no one in the next lane over and they could easily move over. I have no issue with moving over if a car is trying to enter - anticipation is part of being on the road. Actually, I try to stay out of the right lane unless I'm about to exit. And, yes, those people cruising in the right lanes usually aren't getting off at the next exit. I see it all of the time at DFW -- no excuses there because the terminal exits are on the left.

Why court danger?

LOL...I like how everyone slows down to see a stalled car on the side of the road or an accident happening on the other side of the highway.
