I drive at about 10 mph above the speed limit, and every single day people ride my tail in the far-right lane and the middle lane.

They also ride my tail while I'm following stacked series of cars in all lanes; in other words, if they passed me, they would still be waiting behind a line of cars, and they're tail-riding just to express the sentiment that they're in a big hurry.

That's never happened to me in the other US metro areas. From time to time yes, daily basis no. Rude/aggressive/stupid drivers are everywhere, but truly scary drivers are more common in some places than others.

If you could teach common sense and courtesy, we wouldn't need traffic laws.

i generally drive around 50-55 and i stay in the center lane if i am going to go more than a couple miles. so, nah nah nah boo boo on you.

on the other hand, i have never gotten a ticket or caused an accident (had a woman rear end me off a highway ramp and a dude left-turn into me at an intersection and both parties paid 100% of damage).

so double nah nah nah boo boo on you.

Good for you not killing someone yet. However, the Texas Driver's handbook mentions that driving under the limit, say going 50-55 in the middle lane of Tollway north of 635, puts you in the most dangerous category of drivers save drunks and dopers. Hope that makes you feel good.

So true. The ramp onto Ross Ave coming off 75 Southbound freaks me out. The people on the service road NEVER yield - despite the two huge signs advising them to yield to the ramp.

Oh but it won't legally be his fault when someone rear-ends his slow ass while he's in the wrong lane, so he doesn't care. As long as the other person has to pay for it, it's alright. Nobody needs to be in any more of a hurry than he is.

Not to mention the accidents that have been caused by traffic dangerously clogging up due to one driver who does not have any common courtesy or sense.
