According to Travel and Leisure Magazine.

PHILADELPHIA - Philadelphia is home to the least attractive people in the United States (broken link), a survey of visitors and residents showed on Friday.
The city of more than 1.5 million people was also found to be among the least stylish, least active, least friendly and least worldly, according to the "America's Favorite Cities" survey by Travel (broken link) & Leisure magazine and CNN Headline News.
About 60,000 people responded to the online survey, which ranked 25 cities in categories including shopping, food, culture, and cityscape, said Amy Farley, senior editor at the magazine. For unattractiveness, Philadelphia just beat out Washington DC and Dallas/Fort Worth for the bottom spot.

At least these cities are consistent...they seem to suck at everything that makes a city great. I guess there is some hope moving to Baltimore...LOL

One of the things Dallas is known for is its beautiful people. Perhaps they survey was taken by a bunch of bitter, unkempt hippies from Austin. J/K

Surely, by "beautiful" you mean the upper crust, dressy community. Not necessarily natural good looks.

Nah no fighting.......But you have to admit we do have more than our share of "fake" people here........thats just one of the things you have to deal with when you live in a wealthy cosmopolitan city like Dallas. But in protest of that article, I have seen 10times more "real attractive" people here than plastic, so I don't know where they get off saying we have "unattractive" people.

Living in SF and also living in Europe for 6 years and constantly traveling all over the US, I'd have to say that each city/country has its share of beautiful people (whatever that may be) so its difficult to come to any final conclusions on whether one city has more than another unless each and every person was judged in that particluar city--which I'm sure can't be done!

I think alot of those magazines do those "surveys" in a ploy to sell more issues. They can be amusing at times, but alot of them are just ridiculous.
