DFW Airport
Hi
We are relocating to Dallas and I want to know where are the good areas close to the airport . I need to travel 80% of my time and I want to be close to the airport in a safe and clean area . I am looking for modern homes in a safe and nice area . I have a budget around 750k but I can stretch it a little bit if I find the good location
I do not care much about the schools district because we do not have kids . just I and my wife
Thanks

You don't really need to spend that much on a house here, but you might look at Coppell, Grapevine, Southlake or Flower Mound.

I agree that 750k is a LOT of house in Texas!
Southlake is a very family-oriented community and a lot of people move there for the schools. If you don't want a neighborhood full of kids, then I'd say look elsewhere. Same with most of Coppell and Flower Mound.
Honestly, look in Colleyville. Lots of big, nice homes and almost everything will be within your price range and criteria.

We love the quiet and clean areas . I am not sure which city from the cities mentioned above is the best in terms of quietness and charming

really all of the ones mentioned are in nice clean safe areas
I personally don't live in Colleyville but I find when I'm over there that it is quite pretty and I love the overall appearance of the community.

I keep hearing that Grapevine gets a lot of tourist traffic. They have an outlet mall - a really nice one with an indoor skate park. And they have Gaylord Texas resort hotel. They also have a huge mega church there - Fellowship something. All that may make Grapevine not quite as quiet.

That traffic is really on the far NE corner not many neighborhoods near there.
Grapevine has some gems off of Hall-Johnson Rd, or near the lake on in the NW corner.

I agree..you can definately get a LOT for that amount. Come out and scout neighborhoods that fit your lifestyle and what is important to you. My hubby travels just about as much as we have chosen north of Fort Worth because we want some property and more of a laid back atmosphere in the Haslet area.
North Hurst, Irving/Los Colinas, Keller, Southlake, Colleyville, North Richland Hills, Flower Mound are all areas I would look into if you want to be in the 20 min radius of DFW.
At that price point you can pretty much build the home of your dreams. That is also something you might want to think about, but there is a lot of inventory on the market so you have the ability to be thoughtful in what you decide for your new home.
Welcome to Texas!!!

Exit the north end of the airport. As you continue driving north, the good parts are on your left, your right and straight ahead.
But always, lock your doors, take your keys.
