Great place!

As much as I like the Taco Joint, i like the Tacos at the Green Spot just a tad bit more. The green spot is a gas station on Buckner almost halfway between mockingbird and Garland. This place used to host Good2Go tacos (which has moved) but the breakfast tacos there now are fantastic. Paired with one of the 4 or 5 salsas from the salsa bar, and you are all set for the day.

And La Victoria is right by the Taco Joint. I prefer La Victoria. Perhaps one morning if you're super hungry (or hungover...) you can visit both places and decide for yourself.

I'm gonna put my 1.25 cents in here. I'm not a breakfast burrito connoisseur but I do have to say the Braums has a kickin breakfast burrito. It's under $2 and it's huge.
I know I probably offended the true breakfast burrito connoisseur's but just sayin.......

Well... I too moved from Amarillo to the Dallas area as well a couple years ago. Nevermind any of these jokers. There are many good breakfast burritos to be found around the Dallas area. I'm sure, like me, you may not wanna make the twenty or thirty minute drive there and back to get to any of these venues though (unless you're just THAT hardcore). That being said, there are NO breakfast burritos in the DFW area that compare to HUD'S in Amarillo. [mod]off-topic[/mod]

That being said... That breakfast taco or burrito place in Austin is great too. The rest are just "good" or "okay" or "different but not necessarily better."
