Exactly. Commuting from Southlake to Lancaster would be awful.

I work and live in Cedar Hill. My wife and myself have been living in the city since 1997. I love the area.

Default Joe Pool Lake

Cedar Hill or Grand Prairie the areas closer to Joe Pool lake would be great options. Mansfield a good option to an added bonus your commute would be against the traffic.

Not sure where the 95% caus for Sunnyvale comes from, because the schools sure aren't that way. (All the ranchers???) If you want some elbow room and a nice little 'achieving??' school district instead of NoVA sized schools Sunnyvale wouldn't be too bad a commute - does anyone drive south on 635 from 30? But with little kids you (and especially your wife) don't want to be in the car any longer than than you need to be.
