I'm sure we could all make the same type of comments that you enjoy for a living.

Yeah that hurts the most but it doesn't take away from his post though. That sequence of pitching permanently turned the game in St. Louis favor. Feldman threw a fastball to the outside of the plate at his knees. It was in the strikezone and went to a 3-2 count. Feldman threw the same pitch and it was at the same location but the umpire called it a ball and it made the score 4-2. That should have been strike 3 and the score is still 3-2 going to the top of the next inning. Instead, the score jumps to 5-2 before the inning is over. In the next inning, Carpenter threw to the exact same location and the umpire called it a strike. Napoli immediately told the umpire that it was the same exact pitch at the exact same location as Molina. It was a joke.

Let's also talk about that 2-1 pitch to Hamilton in the top of the 7th, I believe. Carpenter threw that well outside off the plate and it was high. The umpire called it a strike. It changed the AB. Should have been a 3-1 count.

Umpiring didn't lose us this series. Our bullpen did. But those calls were damaging in the game. The Rangers need help in starting pitching. Our lack of success with our starters hurt our bullpen in the world series. By the time the WS came, they were used to much. Our starters barely gave us 5-6 innings. That's terrible. The Rangers are going to be contending for years though.
