Timarron is private,yes.Dfw has some great public courses.I agree tour 18 Is one of the best...

Prosper is far out from what? Dallas? Most people we know rarely travel to Dallas.I have not been in the city of Dallas since May.Plano,Mc Kinney and Frisco have a combined population of almost 500,000 people.Dallas in no longer where everyone needs to travel for work.If you work at Raytheon in McKinney or the business Park area in Frisco/Plano then Dallas is far out. It goes both ways.

Great thread !

For those that are fairly new to the area, but yet an avid golfer. (me)..... if when you post your favorite golf course, if you know the city the course is in and green fee's (with cart for my lazy rear) stating if weekday or weekend rate, it would be appreciated if you post this information if known.
