Gosh, this is gonna be a fun thread, maybe someone already has one going on this...

Texas Star- no houses, just plain cut out of the landscape, elevation changes. Downside- elevated greens are tough to chip to if you're short.

Ridgeview Ranch- very playable and some pretty holes, you can get deals on rates. Downside- can be crowded.

Heritage Ranch- My favorite for years. Almost feels like you're in east TX with all the trees and elevation changes. I've seen roadrunners on the course. Downside- well, it's a retirement community that's now filled in and if you get behind the women's game day, or just about any other time, you're looking at a 5 1/2 hour round. Often you'll be on a tee box with 2 other foursomes.

Castle Hills- great course that's tougher than hell. Haven't been back since they re-did it and I think it's going private?

The Tribute- love it much better than Tour 18 (and I like Tour 18).

If you like views of the skyline and the hilliest areas in Dallas, then Stevens Park is a great public course. It's located in Kessler Park in North Oak Cliff.

wow! Holy sh*t. Isn't this another course like Tennison that has recently been redone?

It is, you are correct..But any chance Crew gets to compare Prosper to Southlake you can be sure he/she is gonna jump-relevant or not.

You'd have a better attitude about it... if you lived in Prosper.

My husband is a huge fan of Tenison. Went with him once...got a little freaked as we passed by Fair Park but it really is a beautiful course and area. Cheap, too!
