I'm interested in moving to Dallas, but unsure of which area to move to. I'm leaning towards Arlington, but been reading a couple of negative opinions about it. My girlfriend will accompany me when relocating. My max price range would be about $800/month. I'm more interested in renting right now, not buying. I will be visiting for the new year, so I would like to know some recommendations of some apartments.

Arlington is very large - in fact it's known as the largest city in America with no mass transport. Where are your jobs?

Jobs will dictate where you live. Even with Arlington, it'll take 20 minutes to get from north Arlington to South Arlington. It's a big city!

If you're a hockey fan, the Blues will play in Dallas much more due to the recent realignment.

My niece lives in Arlington and found an apartment called Arbrook for about 850ish, small two bedroom. She only has about a 10-15 minute commute to work. She found her job first then looked for apartments.
